We will be starting the Tangible Kingdom Primer starting on June 17th! The Tangible Kingdom Primer, an eight-week guide to Incarnational community. The Primer is about building life-long habits, with two primary purposes: first as a formation tool to prepare your heart for mission, and second as a field guide for starting mission together. The Heartland District NextGen summer camps are out and going to be awesome. The camps are for middle and high school age students. Please ask for more information and get ready to DIG DEEP! Every third Wednesday is Crafts at the Court! See Tracy for more information.
Walking it out things to think about… Look at five things that identify Christ with us. 1. Identity as a learner and servant 2. He was human (born of a virgin). 3. He was baptized (he identified with sinful humanity). 4. Led by the Spirit 5. Tempted Spend some time this week to see where you can identify with Christ. Do you see any patterns here? Share this with a friend and discuss why this might be. How often do you consciously depend on God’s Spirit at work in you for strength, power and wisdom? Do you have God’s Spirit?
things to read about… Hertland District Mini-Camp this weekend in Oshkosh! Prayers We are praying for each other this week to receive the message from God that will change the world. You can text your anonymous prayers to us at 920-389-1463
Honoring our Fathers Today we take an extra time to honor our Fathers. This may only be a Hallmark holiday for people but as sold out, washed in the blood, believers of Christ we can really appreciate a Fathers love. Even if your experiences with your own father have not been great ones, we will always have the love and guidance of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Take a minute today to do the following: 1. 2.
Pray -Pray for our fathers, either ones that are here now or have passed on. Pray that God reveals Himself powerfully today. Rest – if you are a dad take the time to rest in the wonder of your children today, and if you are not a dad rest in the fact that there is a divine appointment in your life from God through your own father. Honor – Honor your own father today no matter what the cost. God gets the glory and the gospel message is carried out.
