Conceptual Diagrams

ANALYSIS | STRATERGY The Brew House situated in Seaton Delaval Hall, a historic Grade I listed building. Seaton Delaval Hall is an immense house set ints own estate with enormous gardens and a fire collection and many more. An emblemed pointing to the diverse history of a family which acquired land in the 11th century. An estate which staged for drama, romance, trickery, and consumption of beers. Built between 1719 and 1730 which closely speaks about the behavioural patterns of life from a particular era than the grande main hall and the existing heritage fragments. The new proposed plan includes a greater context of the site. This allows the vistors to fully explore Seaton Delaval Hall and the existing enviroment. Rather than implementing a new design for a typical brewery, the proposed brewery for gin allows the vistors to grasp how the process of Gin is completed through various phases which has an impact on the vistors of hot and cold that discloses the closed and opened development. As well as interlocking the hitorical feature of ingredients which are operated to consume Gin.

The site features a substantial landscape of greeneries that surround the primary site as well as the car park. The boundary of the masterplanning and primary site reveals the influential factors that has an influence on the new proposed design. The site is identified as a rural site with a meaningful influence from the nature that should be preserved and retain the original value/purpose.

CONCEPT | INFLUENCE Inspirations and influence derive from the elements of the brewery house. The shape, and the size of the windows incoperated with the process of gin produced through the hot and cold stages. This became an influence of new a intervention.

Concept Model revealing the depth of the individual fins to create the opening and closing concept that relates to the hot and cold process of Gin, which reveals the understanding of how Gin is produced.
