The f irst Fuel Cell to be installed in a commercial development in The City, providing a sustainable source of heat & electricity to the building.


FUEL CELL

ƒƒ The Fuel Cell at 20 Fenchurch Street generates 300 kW of low carbon, low emissions electricity. ƒƒ The Fuel Cell is integrated into a Combined Cooling, Heat & Power (CCHP) configuration to efficiently support the building’s essential services. ƒƒ Conservatively, the Fuel Cell will reduce the carbon dioxide emissions of the building by at least 270 tonnes per annum. ƒƒ Innovative Fuel Cell technology supports the Mayor of London’s policies on climate change mitigation.

The Sky Garden is a unique space, designed to create a vibrant place of leisure for visitors. The garden spans three f loors & offers uninterrupted 360째 views of London.

THE SKY GARDEN

ƒƒ Highest Garden in Europe, offering the public 360° views of London. ƒƒ Two express lifts to transport visitors directly to the garden. ƒƒ Naturally ventilated space, with BMS controlled dampers. ƒƒ Three eateries, a bar, event space & an open air terrace. ƒƒ 390 one-tonne bags of soil were lifted 37 floors to create the garden, which includes: ›› 1,500 ferns grasses & bamboo plants; ›› Over 1,200 herbaceous plants; ›› 250 trees; ›› 230 succulents.
