Highrise CRM Strikes The Right Balance I’ve used Highrise CRM on and off for about three years. I would use it all the time, everyday if possible. Unfortunately, due to client and business realities, I’m sometimes required to use a CRM other than Highrise. So let me tell you about Highrise CRM. Highrise is a web-based CRM so you can get to it any time you have Internet access and a browser. You don’t have to worry about or fiddle with downloading or installing software, which is often a hassle. The first thing you’ll notice about Highrise is it’s nice clean interface. The user interface is not crowded or busy. Everything is set out nicely and easy to find. Another nice thing about the user interface are the colors. The colors are all calming and beautiful. How a user interface looks and feels is key because if you are a full time professional, you will spend all day in that interface, literally. As a result, you want a user interface that is easy one the eyes and calming on the senses. After you get signed up and logged in and after you have seen the nice user interface, it’s time to get down to business. If you are like most new users, one of the first things you are going to do is import your list of contact and prospect names. Imports into Highrise are smooth and simple. All you have to do in order to import names is pony up a file. Once the file is ready, just import it into Highrise. The software will guide you through the process and you will be done in a flash. Now that your contact names are all on board, you are ready to begin making some bacon. All you have to do is click a name, take some kind of action, whatever is appropriate at the time and then update the record so that the action is captured for future reference. All you have to do is save down the record and you’re done. It really does not get any easier than this.
