A true beef bull that is as easy keeping as they come. Anyone who has seen him remembers him as being one of the roundest and big barreled bulls they have ever seen. He is a pet thanks to his breeder Calla at Blairswest and his offspring have shown us no indication of any attitude which was our only concern given some others’ experience with his sire. His dam, Erica 74A is probably the most recognizable Angus cow in Canada, and perhaps also the most desireable. She is truly a great one and we look forward to calving out our first daughters.

We took this ranch bull out to show in 2018 and he stood as Reserve Champion Sr. Bull in Agribition. A June born bull he boasted the highest gain per day of age of all breeds in the barn that year.

We wanted to keep a First Impression son back for his excellent disposition, great foot and superior calving ease. This guy does all those things and is a deep bodied, soft made bull that keeps himself in good shape all year long. He didn’t get used a bunch, but the calves we have on the ground are impressive.
