Pray & partner to meet year-end goal! We are thankful for the generosity of so many that have made our dreams a reality over this past year. We took huge steps of faith to launch a second site, recruit the needed staff, and build a new facility. It is such an exciting time to be in Hanoi and partner with you and local churches to see God’s Kingdom expand. Thank you for your commitment to the Lord and to HIF in giving generously.
Due to the New Year and Tet holidays, we have seen a decrease in offerings these past two months. February marked the start of our 4th Quarter with our finance year ending on April 30. Please pray and partner with us to meet our year-end goal, which is to meet expenses and have a modest one-month cash reserve. The chart below shows where we are at year-to-date.
PRAYER Join us for pre-service prayer every Sunday, 30 minutes before the start of service at both service locations. You can also get prayer request cards at the information table and, after filling it out, drop it in the offering bag or hand it to an usher. Prayer requests can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We believe that God loves the fellowship of Christians. He has promised to be there when we come together. Even more, genuine Christian fellowship and friendship are God’s primary means to develop people and to let them experience His love and purpose for our lives. HIF Body Life Groups want just that: to bring people together and then watch what God is doing in their lives. As our focus is on fellowship, we are very open for a large variety of interest groups—This can be bible studies, but also lots of other things like sports, fun, music, hobbies, language…
Upcoming In March
In Body Life Groups: ...You are free to pick your topic of interest: no pressure for all to do the same thing. ...You are free to pick a group with people you feel comfortable with: beside mixed groups, we want to have groups of men, for women, for mothers, for different life seasons, … ...You only join for a season: the groups run for about 3 months at a time; next term, you are free to choose another group, another topic. ...You can start a group of your own: you don’t need to be a small group expert. Let us help you! Give it a try! Join a group! Or Start a group! You can contact Pastor Nelson and Ray Powell. Their contact emails below: Start a Life Group! If you are planning to start a life group, you can email Pastor Nelson (email@example.com) if you’re starting one in the My Dinh area; and Ray Powell (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are starting one in the Westlake area.
