City Partnerships Orientation For all interested, November 13, 7-9PM @ HIF Center
City Partnership (CP) is the charity ministry of Hanoi International Fellowship (HIF) and aims to connect our resources with opportunities to serve and give. The three main objectives of CP are to: Inspire people to love Hanoi; Invest in our volunteers and beneficiaries; Innovate creative solutions to meet needs.
This Wednesday night there will be an orientation for all those interested in volunteering, partnering, or just learning more about outreach in Hanoi city. The CP team will present the vision behind this ministry and practical ways of how you can be involved. We are excited to (re)launch this ministry and are looking for people from both the Westlake and MyDinh congregations to become team members. There are many opportunities to love Hanoi. Let us make it happen in partnership with NGOs, churches, organizations and people like you!

Colossians 2:6 – 15 Bible Study Questions 1. Paul warned in this passage against false teaching. Can you identify the kinds of false ideas or false teachings that might appeal to Christians or to non- Christians you know? 2. From this passage, what would you share with someone who prays to Jesus but says he/she also feels he/she should pray to Mary, or saints or ancestors?
3. How should we interact with those who believe and teach what is false according to II Timothy 2:23 – 26? What principles for disagreements are found in this passage? 4. How does Colossians describe the situation of everyone before we come to faith in Jesus Christ? Colossians 1:13, 21; 2:13 Why does the Bible use such drastic terms? 5. Discuss the importance of baptism and what it symbolizes. See Col. 2:12 and Romans 6:1 – 4. What is meant by being “baptized into his death” and “buried with him in baptism”? What does it imply for how we should live after we are baptized? 6. Talk about what it should mean practically to live daily “in Christ”. Colossians 2:6
