Healthy Weight Awareness Month

Here are some tips to get fit! • Enjoy low-cal version of comfort food: Use lower-calorie ingredients to prepare meals. Instead of mayo in your tuna salad, use avocado. • More fruits & veggies: Instead of frying or breading while cooking try steaming vegetables and using low-cal spices & sauces. • Eat smaller portion: When eating out, eat half and take the rest home. When at home, avoid going back for seconds. • Drink water: Drink water instead of sugar-sweetened beverages. For flavor add a wedge of lime or lemon.
