Advertising Sales 24 hours a week

Hibiscus Matters is looking for a successful sales representative for a part-time position based at Whangaparaoa, on the sunny Hibiscus Coast. The ideal candidate will be someone with ideas, integrity and a good personality. This is not a position for the faint-hearted. In these tough economic times, selling advertising is a challenging business. The job can be stressful and demands superior organisational skills, as deadlines are non-negotiable. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, as well as someone who can pay attention to detail. The position offers some flexibility in working hours. You will need your own vehicle and will be part of a small friendly team. There is scope to develop advertising campaigns and implement creative ideas. If you are looking for an opportunity to be part of a growing community newspaper, then this could be the job for you. Applications close December 17. Please email letters of application and CVs to: editor@localmatters.co.nz or post to: Jannette Thompson, Local Matters, PO Box 701, Warkworth 0941
