Quiz eliminates ‘Reservations’ By STEPHANIE GARCIA AND MOLLY WALLACE As summer ends and the sunscreen and sunglasses are put away, students prepare for another school year. Routines resume, sports start, and books are dusted off and cracked open. The first few weeks are filled with opportunities to join clubs, help the community and discover all the

campus has to offer. This is a school rich in history and traditions. Being involved and participating in the various traditions, like Kiss the Pig or Orange and White Days, will make one’s time on campus more enjoyable. Ignite your brain by taking this quiz that evaluates exactly how much school

savvy you possess. Hopefully you score high, but if you do not, rest assured that you learned something new about the school. Good luck on the quiz and upcoming school year.

Assembly captures spirit By TYLER PATRICK As freshmen scramble around the school searching for their classes and upperclassmen prepare for a new year, the first week of school begins. The new year brings changes that may require students to be patient and flexible. The class size amendment forced the Student Services department to create more stringent policies for schedule changes, limiting student

choices, and required a course change form be completed and signed before changes would be made; pants must be worn at waist level and there are four new administrators and 28 new faculty/staff personnel to meet. Despite all the changes, administration hopes to usher in a new year that both eliminates chaos and engenders achievement and school pride.
