Introduction A word from‌
The President Dearest all, my name is Cherryn Parque, and I am officially your president of the year 2013-14. Starting my key club years as a freshman, I immediately fell in love with the club and the amazing work that we do. I am very excited for this year as I will do my very best to ensure that the club is efficient and productive as it could be. I am going to give my best in order for our club to grow and prosper. My main goal for this year is to make a huge impact in our community and environment. One thing I learned in my years of key club is that one little act of kindness can make a huge difference. Key club is here to serve and to change the lives of many. I am going to make sure that events are planned, fundraisers are held for PTP, and that we bond as one caring family. As the key club president of Herbert Hoover high school, I will give it all in making this year the best possible year yet. And remember, I am here to serve you, along with my officers. Let's make this year memorable!

About 3,000 Key clubbers have attended District Convention this year, and 10 of them are our dear Hoover High Key clubbers. Congratulations to the 2013-2014 Hoover High Key Club Board! And a big Thank You to the 2012-2013 Board for their years of service within this club!
Member of the Month
Although many of our members attend almost all of the events our president assigns, Brandon not only has devoted most of his time to going to the affairs, but he also makes many of them fun for us. He has consorted many of our hardest events, and also went to DCON for the first time as a freshman this year. He makes sure to volunteer constantly, regardless of the volleyball practices he had to skip. He is a perfect definition of an active member. Great job, Brandon!
Officer of the Month
In every event Magy goes to, she continues to put her best into whatever she has to do. She creates a calm environment for the new members who go to the occasions, and she always knows how to keep a conversation going. She is known for being the perfect people person, and her public speaking skills are just a bonus to her spontaneous personality. She is definitely a go-to if you have any questions about Key club. You go, Magy!
