The best attraction or local hangout to take a guest to is… the Perdana Botanical Garden at Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park. It’s also close to other attractions like museums, memorials, the orchid, butterfly and bird parks,

the National Monument and the National Mosque. The best freebie a visitor can get in my city is... the Dataran Merdeka Heritage Guided Tour, a free tour by Kuala Lumpur City Hall. This trail covers 11 heritage spots, with free entrance to the KL City Gallery and a ticket discount for MUD, a homegrown 60-minute musical about the history of the city.

The most scenic spot in the city is… the Atmosphere 360 Revolving Restaurant at KL Tower to enjoy lunch or dinner with a fantastic view of Kuala Lumpur. The best place for a selfie or groufie is... Merdeka Square, which is surrounded by colonialera buildings, and the Petronas Twin Towers which has been the main landmark of the city. The best place for local eats is... Jalan Alor if you prefer non-halal Chinese food or Kampung Baru if you prefer halal Malay food.

My favourite street in the city is… Jalan Hang Kasturi, where Central Market is located. This is where we can watch local artists showcase their artworks. A good souvenir to buy is… local batik (dyed cloth) with fancy motifs from Kraftangan Malaysia at Jalan Conlay.
