School Hours are 8.45am until 3.15 Please ensure children arrive on time to line up in the playground for collection by their teachers. Parents should say goodbye to their children here as no parents should be entering the school building, Our aim is to provide a safe and secure environment for our pupils. If you would like to see your child’s teacher they are available when you collect your child or you can make an appointment at the office if you would like a little longer. Please collect your children on time at the end of the school day and promptly after the clubs. Thank you.

now keep up to date with the new LCD screen in the reception ofMeet Mrs Joslin fice. School Uniform—Please ensure you wear your school uniform—PLAIN GREY OR BLACK skirts or trousers with a school royal blue, with logo, polo shirt or sweatshirt or fleece available from the school shop, or a plain white shirt /t-shirt can be worn. A PE kit is required for all sports activities, shorts and t-shirt and a tracksuit for winter with plimsolls or trainers. Royal blue t-shirts are available. Stick Insect News EVENTS THIS MONTH…. Unfortunately our two female stick insects Juliet and Minnie died over the holidays, They have a short life cycle, before they died they had laid some eggs in the sand in their house and we have now found four baby stick insects.

Ramadan will start on Thursday the 13th of September and will continue for 30 days until Friday the 12th of October.

SAD LOSS — Dr Noel Thompson

our school governor, aged seventy-four —sadly died over the summer holiday Rosh Hashanah is the 13/14th. after a short illness. Noel was a major part of the school working behind the Friday 21st NSPCC assembly. scenes to improve Preston Park and had served on Ted had a great holiday in Iceland , he visited wa- the Governing board for the last eight years. WOW what has happened over the summer holidays……….

The new Early Years Centre was finished, with brightly coloured doors in the corridor for the new reception and nursery children. The old Nursery and Reception buildings were demolished and a new playground surface was laid and we have three new water fountains. The new ICT suite became operational with some brightly coloured furniture. A new bike shelter was installed. Both the boys and girls Toilets were completely gutted and refurbished and corridors in the existing building were redecorated to brighten them up and we have a new school garden.
