Functions of and How to Use Adjustment Mode

7. Moment Adjustment

Before making an adjustment, extend the outriggers fully and set the crane on firm ground for safety.

[NOTICE]

Before starting moment adjustment, raise the hydraulic oil temperature to approx.122 F(50 C) by alternate raising and lowering the boom. Refer to ìAdjustment Value Tableî in the INFORMATION AND DATA section since the conditions and values for moment adjustment vary depending on the specification number. If the moment zero-point value is not within the tolerance at ì7.6 Moment Zero-point Recheckî, follow the fine adjustment steps of the broken line process order.

The procedure to adjust moment is as follows:

7.1 Moment Zero-point Adjustment

7.2 Moment Span Preliminary Adjustment

7.3 Moment Zero-point Check and Fine Adjustment

7.4 Load Radius Adjustment

7.5 Moment Span Fine Adjustment

7.6 Moment Zero-point Recheck End of moment adjustment
