See how the digester is fed a mix of locally-sourced farmyard manures in order to produce electricity and heat for the properties on site as well as biogas for the on-site Aga. You’ll also learn how the biogas produced from BMAD is upgraded on-site for use in vehicles with our own mini filling station and our company vehicle running on methane made from our biogas! 75 Heritage Trees: Talk by Archie Miles Hereford Library (Woolhope Room), Broad Street, Hereford, HR4 9AU Wed, 16th October, 6.30pm–7.30pm Distinguished photographer and writer Archie Miles will give an illustrated talk about some of the amazing trees of Herefordshire. Beautiful cards and books by Archie will be on sale too. Herefordshire libraries stock many of Archie Miles’ books about trees. Hereford, Leominster and Ross libraries also have special ‘Green Life’ sections, with books covering topics such as self-sufficiency, energy efficiency and all things sustainable.
