Not surprisingly with such strong volumes, prices in Cornwall have risen – by an average of 2.89% in the 12 months to June, according to data from Land Registry.

HENNINGS MOIR finds buyers for TV stars Having found their dream property in Perth, Australia on ‘Wanted Down Under’, the Morby family came to Hennings Moir to find a buyer for their house in St Anne’s Chapel. We managed to find buyers who could tie in with the Morbys’ emigration timescale. Streuth!

Hennings Moir MD Steve Moir completed the gruelling 350-mile cycle challenge from Chatham, Kent to Lympstone, Devon. Braving headwinds for three days and 101 miles on the hottest day of the year, the group raised over £12,000 for Help Our Wounded Royal Marines.

4. Meanwhile in a large saucepan melt the butter and cook the onions and garlic until they soften. Add the stock and bring to the boil. 5. Next, add the roasted squash and milk. Bring gently back to the boil, simmer for 20 minutes and then whizz in a liquidiser or food processor. 6. Push the soup through a fine sieve. 7. To serve, gently reheat without boiling, you could add some chopped crispy bacon or ham or just a swirl of cream. Delicious.

1 large butternut squash, peeled & cubed, seeds removed 75ml olive oil 50g salted butter 1 med onion, peeled & finely sliced 1 clove of garlic, crushed 1.5lt white chicken stock or veg stock 250ml milk salt and pepper

3. Season and place in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the squash softens and starts to brown.
