From 28 November to 13 December, Basel transforms itself into a winter wonderland. Little wooden huts decorated with sparkling lights, sell unique handcrafted gifts, and traditional tree decorations. Be sure to fuel your shopping trip with some of the traditional food and drink on offer. Here are five tasty morsels not to be missed! Glühwein: This warm spicy mulled wine is guaranteed to take the chill out of an evening’s browsing.
