Charlton House & Gardens Charlton House is over 400 years old and one of the finest examples of Jacobean domestic architecture in the country. Built between 1607 and 1612, originally for Prince Henry the son of King James I, the house has also been the residence of East India Merchants, Prime Ministers and Baronets, and enjoys a fascinating history.

Ornate rooms, long driveway, beautiful walled gardens, Charlton House is as versatile as it is unique for your event. Our historic halls and rooms can accommodate up to 150 delegates and are rich in period detail, featuring original fireplaces, wood panelling and intricate strap-work ceilings. Just 30 minutes from central London within the Royal borough of Greenwich, nearest transport links include National Rail to Charlton Station, Jubilee Line and tube to North Greenwich, and DLR and Crossrail to Woolwich. Located on the ground floor with its own entrance, the Old Library is the perfect event space for presentations, dinners, receptions and exhibitions, with high celilings, mezzanine, and an abundance of natural daylight. Capacities:
