The ceramic vessel is my primary means of artistic investigation. It is still most natural to my way o f t h i n k i n g t h a t c o n t a i n e r s w e re i n v e n t e d t o h o l d , p ro t e c t a n d o f f e r a m o n g t h e i r m o re i m p o r t a n t re s p o n s i b i l i t i e s . T h i s m o s t c u r re n t b o d y o f w o r k h a s s p l i t m y a t t e n t i o n b e t w e e n e m p l o y i n g m e t h o d o l o g i e s t h a t p ro v i d e a r t i s t i c o u t c o m e s t h a t p l a y t o t h e r a t i o n a l a n d m o re c o o l l y i n t e l le c t u a l , a s i s t h e c a s e w i t h t h e p e r f o r a t e d v e s s e l + c o n t e n t s .
