A continuum of care for all your current and potential needs NewBridge on the Charles offers a comprehensive continuum of care that encompasses independent living; assisted living and memory care assisted living; our on-campus Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, which is licensed as a long-term chronic care hospital; and our five-star-rated Rehabilitation Services Unit (RSU), which provides post-acute health care. We also offer onsite medical services through our Harvard Medical School-affiliated practice that includes a geriatrician and specialists in podiatry, audiology, and psychiatry who provide world-class, concierge-like care.

You will receive up to one hour of personal, one-on-one care each day, which can be delivered all at once or in 15-minute increments that correspond to your needs throughout the day; this is typically in the form of assistance with activities of daily living and helping you to manage your medications. If extra care is required, it can easily be arranged. Beyond the care you receive to maximize your independence, our director of nursing and well-trained staff monitor your health to promote wellness and prevent hospitalization.

Having these services expertly delivered at NewBridge means less disruption for you should your health needs change. If you ever need rehab or long-term chronic care, you can receive it at NewBridge, which allows for continuity of care and minimal disruption to your life. We also offer respite stays and—if ever needed—onsite palliative and hospice care.
