Rules & Regulations                

Pre-entries can be made by emailing Bev at bev@heavensgatefarmpa.com or on horseshowing.com Post entries will be accepted at no charge. There are no scratch fees. A $30.00 office will be charged to all competitors. All riders must wear USEF approved ASTM/SEI headgear at all times when mounted. All fees must be paid and entry blanks fully complete (including address, email, phone number, and parent/guardian signature if under the age of 18) before back numbers will be issued. There are no schooling fees. A $25.00 fee will be issued for all non-negotiable checks. A 10 minute schooling break will occur before the beginning of each division. The show will begin promptly at 8:00am. Parking is allowed in designated areas only. All trainers, competitors, and spectators agree to follow parking signs and the parking official’s instructions. The show office opens one hour prior to the start of the show. All horses on the show grounds must have a negative Coggins test current within one year. USEF rules will be applied and followed in all divisions. Heaven’s Gate Farm horse show management reserves the right to cancel, combine, change location, or add class(es), schooling, dates, or personnel as deemed necessary. The Heaven’s Gate Farm Horse Show, Heaven’s Gate Farm, LLC., or the Horse Show Committee will not be held responsible for any accident, loss, or damage which can occur to any rider, horse, or equipment before, during, or after the show. WARNING: Under Pennsylvania Law, an equine professional and equine activity sponsor are not liable for an injury to or death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. Inherent risks of equine activities includes: - The propensity of an equine to behave in a manner which may cause injury, harm or death to a person on or near it. - The unpredictability of an equine’s reaction to sounds, sudden movements, unfamiliar objects, individuals or other animals. - An equine’s reaction to certain natural hazards, such as surface and sub-surface ground conditions. - A collision with other equines or objects. - An equine’s response to the participant’s manner of handling or controlling or inability to handle or control it.


Jumper Divisions All classes $20.00 unless otherwise noted. Itty Bitty Jumper Division- Open to riders who have not shown over fences exceeding 2’6”/.75m in height during the current competition year. Riders may not cross enter into any jumper class where fences exceed 2’6”/.75m at the same show.

Fences: 0.70m or 2’3”

Thoroughbred Schooling Jumper Division- Open to riders who have not shown over fences exceeding 2’9”/.80m in height during the current competition year. Riders may not cross enter into any jumper class where the fences exceed 2’9”/.80m at the same show.

Fences: .75m or 2’6”
