EMPOWERED STRUCTURE Michael Kors is a global industry, his products attract a wide range of customers. His collections are normally unique and diverse which creates a popular attraction for his brands. Michael Kors runs his business under three brands. MICHAEL by Michael Kors, Michael Kors Collection, and KORS by Michael Kors. Michael keeps an aesthetic of seasonal neutrals with a hint of color. He has done a great job at building a high-end aspirational brand that generates demand from its customers from around the global.


EMPOWERED STRUCTURE The new ambiance of the store will be sophisticated with an edge. This Fall-Winter 2014, we are staying with the Michael Kors, Jet-Set Style but taking it a step further and allowing the customer to step into the store and feel as if they were vacationing in an exotic location. This Fall-Winter 2014, Michael Kors will be featuring Barcelona as their exotic location. Taking inspiration straight from Barcelona, using their architecture, texture and colors. The palette for Fall-Winter 2014 will consist of a neutral palette of black, luggage brown, tan and midnight gray with the hint of catalan blue, and mindori green.

Kate Spade has an extremely inviting store atmosphere and presence. The visuals give off an environment of carefree, cheerfulness, with a sprinkle of girly sophistication.

Coach’s flagship store features a façade of 210 stacked translucent display boxes housing their red merchandise of the season.

Marc Jacobs is famous for his outlandish and bizarre window demonstrations. He uses the strangest props that add a mysterious shock value to his brand.

BCBG is classic yet sophisticated and the brand is portrayed very clearly in their window displays.

Louis Vuitton is a luxury brand known for taking it completely over the top with their visuals. Recently in 2012 LV did collaboration with pop artist Yayoi Kusama. Louis Vuitton based displays on Kusama’s signature polka dot theme and ran with it.

C. Wonder is known for incorporating lots of stimulating, colorful and attention-grabbing displays. They use geometric patterns that carry from the floor to onto the walls, which is perfect for drawing the consumer’s eye to the merchandise on display.

Anthropologie is known for their preppy yet fun-filled bohemian sophistication. They are highly well known for their inventive and innovative displays that often use recycled or reclaimed materials.

Cartier in NYC put into place quite a significant exterior visual installation. Wrapping the entire store like a gift under the tree on Christmas morning Cartier knows how to make the consumers eager to come into the store.


EMPOWERED STRUCTURE Non-Competitors

Opening Ceremony is particularly recognizable. The perfect place to find something unique. The store is hip, and industrial with a playful twist of eccentricity. Opening Ceremony uses geometric shapes and structured displays with an almost futuristic essence to them.

Barney’s launched Lady Gaga’s workshop, a holiday retail experience representing her. Lady Gaga’s displays were vibrant with a fun house feel. The choice of black for the ground makes the colors of the train stand out with vibrancy.
