PAINT CAN & PHOTO PAPER SEPTEMBER 2012 ASSIGNMENT: MANUFACTURE A PAINT CAN INTO A CAMERA BY PUNCTURING A HOLE IN THE SIDE & PLACING THE PHOTO PAPER ADJACENT TO THE HOLE INSIDE THE CAN. EXPOSURE IS BASED OF THE AMOUNT OF TIME THE HOLE IS UNCOVERED.

Presenting the new face of the “American Fare� restaurant for the seattle location. LUCID is a simplistic design meant to emerse the customers into calm, natural, and modern experience. Concrete floors, natural wood, and vegetation bring to life a raw feel. A variety of seating makes it the destination for any occassion.

BONOBOS POP-UP RETAIL STORE BONOBOS APPEARAL TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR CLOTHES FITTING AND FEELING GOOD. THIS DESIGN’S PURPOSE IS TO MAKE THE EXPERIENCE ALL ABOUT THE CLOTHES. IN A SOPHISTICATED, SIMPLISTIC AND MASCULINE APPROACH, THE CLOTHES ARE PUT ONLY ON THE EXTERIOR WALLS AS IF BEING DISPLAYED IN AN ART GALLARY. ASHCRETE STRUCTURE ASCHRETE IS A MATERIAL SIMILAR TO CONCRETE BUT USES ASH WASTE FROM POWER PLANTS RATHER THAN NATURAL AGGRAGATES WHICH DISRUPT RIVER BEDS & ECOSYSTEMS

CONCEPT STATEMENT THE FUNCTION OF THIS BUILDING IS TO PROVIDE A PLACE FOR AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITES, COMMUNITY EVENTS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND A PLACE TO KEEP PEOPLE ACTIVE. THE STRUCTURE ITSELF IS DESIGNED AROUND A SELFSUSTAINING CONCEPT INSPIRED BY PLINY FISK. MATERIALS AND FINISH ARE LOCAL, AND THE BUILDING IS DESIGN AROUND THE MIDWESTERN CLIMATE UTILIZTING WIND PATTERNS FOR VENTILATION AND THE SUN AS A NATURAL SOURCE OF HEAT AND ILLUMINATION
