FINE 5 WE MET TIINA OLLESK, ONE OF THE FOUNDING MEMBERS OF FINE 5 DANCE THEATRE IN THE LUSH GARDEN OF KOHVICUM, ONE OF THE SWEETEST CAFES IN THE OLD TOWN OF TALLINN. THE OTHER HALF OF THE DANCE THEATRE IS RENÉ NÕMMIK, WHO JOINED US A BIT LATER. TIINA AND RENÉ ARE ALSO SHARING THEIR EXPERIENCE TO DANCE STUDENTS IN TALLINN UNIVERSITY. FINE 5 IS THE LAUREATE OF SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL DANCE CONTESTS AND FESTIVALS. THE COMPANY HAS PERFORMED IN USA; ITALY, FRANCE, SWEDEN, CYPROS, FINLAND, POLAND, BALTIC STATES, RUSSIA AND BELORUSSIA. IN THE SOVIET TIMES THE HIGHEST DANCE FORM WAS BALLET. THERE WAS A GREAT ASSORTMENT OF PEOPLE, BECAUSE EVERYBODY WANTED TO BECOME BALLET STARS. BACK THEN IT WAS NORMAL THAT YOU COULD CHOOSE ONE PERFECT BODY TYPE FOR THE ELITE ART. THESE DAYS IT IS DIFFERENT, BECAUSE WE HAVE TO CONSIDER THE MATERIAL WE ARE WORKING WITH AND WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE WE ARE. IT IS AN ILLUSION THAT HUMAN RESOURCES ARE ENDLESS, BECAUSE ENERGY CAN RUN DRY. SO WE WANT TO GET BACK TO OUR ESSENCE, BACK TO THE BONES. WE WANT TO CONSIDER THE FUNCTIONS OF MOVING BODY AND BUILD UP TRAINING SYSTEMS FROM THIS POINT. ONLY THEN YOU CAN WORK AS A CHOREOGRAPHER. IN THE CONTEXT OF ESTONIA THIS IS A NEW WAY OF THINKING.
