ince moving back home, McMillan has collaborated with her very dear friend and Spanx Founder, Sara Blakely who is also a Clearwater native. McMillan was so inspired by Blakely’s dedication to giving back and supporting women’s causes that she helped her produce The Belly Art Project, a photo book that debuts in October and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Every Mother Counts. It’s amazing what women can do when they work together and share their talents for the common good. McMillan credits her jobs, travels, friendships, and experiences to leading her to this venture as everywhere she went she noticed residents of their respective state wearing cool clothing that positively represented their state. With her heart always being near and dear to her hometown, McMillan knew that her beloved state needed just that, an apparel line that represents how she feels about the sunshine state. When she jokingly asked a lawyer if Sunshine State was available in apparel, she was shocked and excited to find out it was. „
