ARC also provides housing at five group homes, with six to eight residents in each home who receive 24 hour care, training and supervision. Funding for Ridge Area ARC comes mainly from a state and federal matching program called a Medicaid Waiver and state funding from the Agency for Persons with Disabilities and the Department of Transportation. Profits from the Resale Store and ARC's Screen Printing operation, as well as three annual fundraisers (Kokomo dinner-dance and auction in April, Halloween 5/10K in Oct., Sebring Derby in Nov.) help subsidize vital services.
