Florida Airboat Association Unity Weekend Photography by Sharon Cannon On July 15 -17, airboaters and airboat manufacturers from all over the state and out of state came to mingle and talk to each other to show strength of the airboating community. The FAA Banquet Dinner was held at the KOA Campgrounds Convention Center where the attendees enjoyed a steak dinner, raffle prizes, silent auction and live music by The Tom Jackson Band. Inside there were enough tables and chairs to seat 220 people along with 5 vendor tables and 12 airboats. All proceeds from this event will help protect airboating rights by keeping a lobbyist in Tallahassee. FAA Unity committee can't wait to get started on next year’s event.
