Be a Sweetheart this Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Day, held annually on Valentine’s Day, raises much-needed funds to provide support for children and families affected by childhood heart disease as well as fund vital medical research. So show your heart this February 14 to join the fight against childhood heart disease!

To support Sweetheart Day you can: • Host an event at work with colleagues (or at home with family and friends) and have a fun-filled day getting together sharing a cuppa and cakes, or even playing games – check out our fundraising page to help you make your event memorable! • Show your support by wearing a splash of red and get your family and friends to sponsor your event by donating whatever they can to help fight childhood heart disease! • You can promote and sell awesome HeartKids merchandise to your fellow colleagues • Bring Valentine's Day themed cakes and sweets to share with your friends • You could even send a personalised Valentine’s card to your Valentine via the website • Volunteer for planned Sweetheart Day events at shopping centres and train stations (see volunteer information below) For some inspiring Sweetheart Day fundraising ideas and to register your interest please visit https://www.sweetheartday. org.au/

Super Boss Day, Friday 4 March Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural Super Boss Day campaign, this year’s event is bigger and better and now national! Super Boss Day is a fun initiative where bosses or co-workers dress as a superhero for a day to raise funds for HeartKids to support children with heart disease and their families. Bosses can register themselves or be nominated by staff, friends or family. By raising funds, you get to dress up as your favourite superhero on Super Boss Day on Friday March 4 2016! It’s a lot of fun, a great way to involve your staff and colleagues and at the same time raise funds for HeartKids Victoria/ Tasmania. How? With the help of some tights, a mask and a fetching cape, we’re challenging bosses to channel their inner superhero and transform themselves into a champion for HeartKids Victoria/ Tasmania. Come to work dressed as Superman, Wonder Woman, Catwoman or Indiana Jones. For further information please visit http://www.superbossday. org.au and follow Super Boss Day on Facebook and Instagram.
