Hearing Aid Styles For all intents and purposes, there are 5 hearing aid styles typically available to be fit by your hearing healthcare professional. These are the behind-theear (BTE), open-fit BTE, in-the-ear (ITE), in-the-canal (ITC), and completely-in-the-canal (CIC) models. Below is a brief overview of each style.
