How do you ensure you get enough protein?

Regardless of whether you get your protein from plants or animals, it is suggested that adults need 1.2 grams of protein per kilogram of bodyweight, when your body is at rest. This increases to 1.6 to 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram for people who exercise, athletes, anyone eating a plant-based diet, or those aiming to lose weight through calorie restrictions.

What does this look like?

A 60 kilogram female who enjoys regular exercise would need about 96 grams of pure protein per day.
