Wound Care in the Real World â€œA practical approach for aged careâ€? This workshop will provide staff with information required to choose the right generic dressing for wounds. Practical tips for utilising the various products available at your service. Participants will also use dressing products in simulated situations and be able to seek advice regarding wound management issues at their workplace.
These half day workshops are delivered by clinical nurses who currently provide clinical advice services to a number of aged care facilities. The information is current, practical and delivered with the knowledge that money is tight, staff time is limited and care provision needs to be exceptional.
