CANADA international students are deciding to immigrate – recent data from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) shows. CIC is also rolling out new initiatives to help improve visa application processing times for international students. According to the latest Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada - AUCC report, Canada has 1.2 million students in degree programs. Of these, 898,400 are full-time students, while 275,800 are part-time students and they are taught by 42,000 full-time professors. It also states that $10 billion worth of research activities are carried out in these educational institutions.
