En los últimos días, desde la pasada semana aproximadamente, vienen siendo uno de los principales protagonistas del comienzo de la temporada playera en Torreguadiarro y todo el litoral del Valle del Guadiaro. Las medusas están siendo las principales invitadas en este tramo final del mes de junio por lo que las distintas autoridades (y así lo informan desde la propia Policía Local y el servicio de socorrismo de las diferentes playas); advierten de la importancia de incrementar la atención a la hora de darse un baño. Torreguadiaro, Cala Sardina, Sotogrande, y Alcaidesa, especialmente, están sufriendo la visita de esta oleada de medusas en estos días. Por lo que son los focos en los que prestar más cuidado.
Infórmense a través del personal presente en las distintas playas (protección civil, socorristas, etc.), del estado del mar antes de efectuar el baño y de las medidas de prevención ante cualquier picadura.
