Creation Truth Foundation (CTF) is a nonprofit organization founded by Dr. G. Thomas Sharp to address the domestic problems facing Church families. Darwinian evolutionism has overthrown the dominance of the Bible (creation in particular) as the foundation of America’s world view. This has provided the platform for secular humanism to separate God from public life. Which has lead to an unprecedented moral and educational decline throughout the United States. It is our goal to address these problems by helping the Christian community return to our Biblical foundation (Genesis 1-11 ). We have nine subjects to our statement of faith. The Bible: The unique divine inspiration of all the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments as originally given, so that they are infallibly and uniquely authoritative and free from error of any sort, in all matters with which they deal, scientific and historical as well as moral and theological. Special Creation: Special creation of the existing space, mass, and time in the universe and all its basic systems and kinds of organisms in the six literal days of creation week. Historicity: The full historicity and accuracy of the Biblical record of primeval history, including the literal existence of Adam and Eve as the progenitors of all people, the literal fall and resultant divine curse on the creation, the worldwide cataclysmic flood, and the origin of the nations and languages at the tower of Babel. God: The triune, Godhead- one eternal, transcendent, omnipotent, personal God existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Redemption: The substitutionary and redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the sin of the world, through His literal physical death, burial and resurrection, followed by His bodily ascension into Heaven. Salvation: Personal salvation from the eternal penalty of sin is provided solely by the grace of God on the basis of the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, to be received only through personal faith in His person and work through the Word of God. Holy Spirit: The Spirit of God convicts, regenerates, indwells, seals all believers in Christ, and fills those who yield to Him. Satan: The existence of a personal, malignant being called Satan who acts as deceiver, tempter and accuser, for whom the place of eternal punishment was prepared, where all who die outside of Christ shall be confined. Last Things: The future, personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ to the earth to judge and purge sin, to establish His eternal Kingdom and to consummate and fulfill His purposes in the works of creation and redemption with eternal rewards and punishments.

10 FAQs by CTF readers/audiences By Dr. Jackson

1. Where did Cain get his wife? It is clear from the context of the Genesis account, that Cain - and indeed all of his many brothers and sisters - must have taken mates from among their siblings. 2. Where did races come from? There is no such thing as “race” among humankind, there are only “nations” and “peoples”. Only dark people could stand the African sun. Only light people could survive in the weak sun of northern Europe. This is called “natural selection” or “survival of the fittest”. 3. How do dinosaurs fit into the Bible? The “dragons” of the Bible were the land dinosaurs like the behemoth and the giant ocean reptiles like the leviathan. The “flying serpents” were the pterosaurs. These were created in the first week of the world, just like everything else alive on our planet Earth. Most groups became extinct in the centuries that followed, leaving only a few endangered species to finally go extinct sometime during the Middle Ages. 4. How does the Ice Age fit into the Bible? Sea volcanoes during the Flood would have warmed the oceans. Combined with the cooler land and air, this was the perfect recipe for large and long-lasting hurricanes all over the world for the centuries that followed. In the polar regions or on the mountaintops, this would have resulted in persistent worldwide snowstorms. The icecaps moved from the poles and mountaintops over the next 300-500 years. When the conditions finally changed, the icecaps and glaciers began to melt and to retreat roughly to their current positions over a period of only about 30 years. Except for at high altitudes the Ice Age would have passed without being noticed by people living in the Middle East during the Biblical historical accounts. 5. If Earth is only 6000 years old, then how can we see light from stars that should have taken longer than that to get here? The Creation theory says that God began stretching out the fabric of space from the beginning, and is still doing it today. Whenever space is stretched, time will

also become stretched. If our Earth is near the center of that stretching, then we have not been stretched across space as much as the stars and galaxies that are farther from the center. We have also not been stretched as much across time. 6. What about Global Warming? Global Warming is a matter that has nothing to do with one’s Biblical Worldview. 7. Couldn’t God have made Adam and Earth both with “an appearance of age”? Adam was not old when God created him. He was brand new. So was Earth. Adam had to have a mind and a body capable of being a husband to Eve and a father to the human race. Earth had to have rivers and soil, and all of the things necessary to support the intricate worldwide communities of living plants and animals. 8. Who were “the sons of God” in Genesis 6? The Bible is not completely clear on who these men were, but it is completely clear that they existed. It may be that these were the descendants Seth, the one of Adam’s sons that looked the most like him. The “daughters of men” may have been of the corrupted peoples descended from Cain. In any case, the Bible does not specifically identify these people for certain. Nobody can be specifically sure who they were for certain. 9. How could there be days or time before God created the sun and Adam? It is true that the Bible says the sun, moon and stars were created for the telling the times and the seasons. This does not mean that there was no time before these celestial light sources were created. To say that there was no time before Adam was there to mark it, is the same as saying that there were no days before the sun was there to mark them. All that is needed for day and night is light and dark. All that is needed for time is the existence of the universe. The Bible says that both of these things were begun at “the beginning” in Genesis One. 10. Is the world going to end on December 21, 2012? Jesus did say that no man could tell the day of His coming. This means that the Mayans couldn’t tell it, either.

The Genetic History of the Human Kind By Dr. Jackson

A comparison of the current standing of genetic research to the narratives from both the Biblical historical model and the Darwinian evolutionist model of human history. Is the Bible narrative for the history of humankind accurate? If it is, then we should expect to see a very specific result of these events, imprinted on the DNA in our cells. They did. Not until our discovery of DNA sequencing have we been able to see it, but now we do. Current knowledge of human, animal, and plant genetics has confirmed every significant point of history recorded in the Holy Bible. Here we will restrict ourselves to only the human history as it relates the human genome to Bible history. As early as the 1980’s, science began to slowly catch up with the Bible in its search for the identity of the very first humans. DNA found in the tiny chambers of the cell known as the mitochondria, would be the easiest to isolate and analyze. It was also assumed that mitoDNA could only be handed down through the mother, to both her sons and daughters. It was the perfect first step in retracing the genetic roots of humankind, to the first root of womankind.

“A trail of DNA led to a single woman from whom we are all descended.” (Newsweek, 1/11/1988, p46, cited by John Heffner). In honor of Genesis, the researchers named this one ancient woman “mitochondrial Eve,” as she has been known ever since. Further research not only continued to affirm that the entire human race had only but one mother, but also that she did not walk the earth millions of years ago. Instead, the diversity of mitoDNA found in all human cells was so slight, that it could have developed over a mere 120,000 years instead. “We are finding that humans have

very, very shallow genetic roots which go back very recently to one ancestor,” said Michael Hammer of University of Arizona. “That indicates that there was an origin in a specific location on the globe and then it spread out from there.” (US News & World Report, 12/4/1995, cited by John Heffner).

Before these discoveries, evolutionists had been arguing among themselves whether there was indeed only one point of origin for the human race. Then something most disturbing and shocking happened in 1998. A glitch was discovered in the central assumption of the “mitochondrial clock” mechanism. MitoDNA, it was found, could diversify about 20 times faster than had been previously assumed. A new date was recalculated for “mitochondrial Eve,” and it was even more removed from the date that they had originally been expecting by Darwinian assumptions. Eve was now dated at 6000 years old. Some might object to the notion that one human couple might give rise to all of the genetic diversity now found in the human race. But the origin of this one couple must be taken in account. Creationist anatomist David Menton urges us to remember that Eve was a direct creation of God. All baby girls after her, are born with all the egg cells in their ovaries that they will ever have for their entire lifetime. They get those eggs by meiotic division of their parents’ DNA during their own prenatal development. But where did Eve get her DNA? Where did Eve get the egg cells in her ovaries? Menton suggests that each of Eve’s 400,000 eggs could have had a set of alleles in the genes that were totally distinct and diverse from one another. The Bible does not say how many offspring that Adam and Eve had. Only three are named, and the rest are referenced only as “many sons and daughters.” How many? How many could the most healthy couple in history produce, in a fertile lifespan of perhaps more than half a millennium (Adam is recorded as living to the age of 930). Together, our first parents could have easily provided far more genetic diversity than even now the human race displays. Much of that diversity would have been lost when the human race was reduced once again down to only three breeding couples, who of course obtained their genetic inheritance in the same way as humans do today.
