Seaside fun Only 640 metres away from a Blue Flag beach, we are just a short level walk away from all the activities at the Warren Beach Resort. With a fun-park and go-karts plus shops and food outlets, you’ll have plenty to do when you’re not sunbathing, rock-pooling or building sandcastles. Walk a little further along the beach and enjoy the peace and seclusion of a national nature reserve.

Parts of the beach at Dawlish Warren allow access for dogs throughout the whole year so this is the ideal place to bring your dog on holiday with you. A limited number of units, including our Oakwood lodges, have been set aside for families who would like to holiday with their pet dogs (up to two dogs). The rest of our accommodation is guaranteed dog free.

Fishing Lakes We have two on-site fishing lakes with carp, roach and tench. During the season permits are only available to customers of Hazelwood Holiday Park. Everyone must have their own Environment Agency fishing licence and a daily fishing permit is available from our site shop.

The Oakwood Lodges are fa Treat yourself to a really luxurious holiday! Every one of our beautiful lodges is uniquely and stylishly decorated – with double glazing and central heating, they are cosy all year round. The built-in kitchens are fully equipped with everything you might need for a family and some even have dishwashers. These lodges will really feel like a home from home. Each Oakwood lodge comes with it’s very own adjacent parking space.

Our lodge was beautiful! We opted

for the hot tub and it was absolutely worth the extra money for the

Spacious and fantastic value for money! With 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people, this is our newest and largest chalet. Treat yourself to more comfort and space than a caravan holiday! With two TVs and satellite connection for your own Sky box, the Ashwoods are quickly becoming our most requested holiday chalet. Subject to availability we can offer some mobility aware and dog friendly Ashwood chalet’s on request.

The Cedarwood Chalet

Family friendly comfort With two bedrooms plus a sofa-bed in the lounge, there is space for everyone. This is a great chalet for families with two children (in a six berth) or three children (in a seven berth). Cedarwoods are situated towards the front of the park by open lawned areas with space to play. They incorporate open plan living space and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. We have two 5 berth mobility aware Cedarwood chalets with wet rooms. You can even holiday in specific chalets with your dog! Our reservation team will help you select the right accommodation for your needs if you make us aware of any special requirements.

The Elmwood Chalet

Ideal for a budget break These two-bedroom properties sleep up to 4 people and are suited to a family with up to two young children, having one double bedroom and a bunk bed room. Alternatively, on request, there are a couple of Elmwood Chalets that sleep just three people, having one double room and one single room instead of a bunk bed room. No frills, simply a comfortable base for having some holiday fun in South Devon. You can even holiday with your dog if you book a dog friendly one (others are guaranteed dog free).

Pop in here to be greeted by our friendly and helpful members of staff who’ll be delighted to answer any queries. It’s also the place to find information about the local area and days out. There is a ‘Key Drop Off’ letterbox outside for out of hours departures.

The Fish Bar serves the traditional sea-side favourite fish and chips. Check out the daily specials board and enjoy for example, a Seafood Basket of butterfly king prawns, squid rings, salt and pepper squid & cod bites, served with tartare sauce and fresh lemon.

People come back year after year to see our fantastic entertainment team! Enjoy evening entertainment all through the summer season at Hazelwood Holiday Park’s Clubhouse. The snack bar menu has light evening meals and a lunchtime Sunday Carvery.

Hazelwood Holiday Park is in a fabulous location, with lovely local beaches and a host of pretty towns and villages to discover. Have fun crossing the Estuary to Exmouth by passenger ferry, or visit Torquay, the pride of the English Riviera. For a change of pace, the beautiful cathedral city of Exeter offers shops, bars & restaurants, museums, cinemas, and theatres. Dartmoor National Park covering an area of 368 square miles is the largest and wildest area of open country in Southern England. There are walking and cycle routes to suit all abilities. We are ideally situated for Devon’s family attractions, like Crealy Adventure Park, Woodlands Theme Park, Powderham Castle etc.

Most of our holidays are one or two weeks long and run from 4pm Saturday to 10am the following We also offer Short Break holidays. (Weekend Friday to Monday 3 night stays, or midweek Monday to Friday four night stays) – check the price list for details. We may be able to offer holidays from Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday. Unusual dates? Just give us a call and we will try and fit you in.

HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR HOLIDAY • We require a minimum deposit of £50 per week or short break to hold the booking. The balance of the holiday must then be paid at least 56 days before you arrive. If you make a booking for a holiday which is less than 56 days away we require the full payment at time of booking. • We prefer payment by debit card, but will accept major credit cards and cheques (although we do not accept cheques for bookings made less than 2 weeks before the start of a holiday). • If you would like to pay for your holiday by cheque make it payable to ‘Hazelwood Holiday Park’ and send it to Hazelwood Holiday Park, Dawlish Warren, Devon, EX7 0PF (Don’t forget to call and reserve first and then write your booking reference number on the back). • Good Housekeeping Bond (Oakwoods) Because we act as an agent for these privately owned lodges we require a refundable Good Housekeeping Bond. They do not qualify for cancellation protection like our other accommodation so we recommend you take out your own travel insurance.

Terms & conditions

Important information for your holiday We advise you to read our terms & conditions. You might want to know how you stand if you need to cancel due to illness. Your booking - When you make a booking a contract is formed between Hazelwood Holiday Park (us) and the customer (you) once we have accepted your initial payment whether it is a deposit or the full payment (if the booking is made less than 56 days before the start of the holiday). Printed here are the terms and conditions of that contract. Alterations - Once you have confirmed your booking you cannot change any of the details without our agreement. In these circumstances we will do our best to help you make minor alterations in advance of your holiday. Cancellations - If you cancel your holiday you will be responsible for the full cost of the holiday unless you have purchased any cancellation cover or holiday insurance (see below). If you wish to cancel you must telephone us on 01626 865005 and then confirm in writing either by post or email. Paying - When you make a booking we require an initial deposit in order to hold the booking. We then require the full payment no later than 56 days before the start of your holiday. If you make your booking within 56 days of the start date we will require full payment for your holiday. If the balance of your payment is not received 56 days prior to the start of your holiday we will assume that you no longer require the accommodation and we reserve the right to re-let it. Hire Service - Any linen or equipment hired as part of the booking must be reserved and paid for as part of the initial holiday payment. All free linen packages must also be reserved at this time. Prices - All prices stated in the brochure are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the rate that was current when the brochure went to print. If the rate has changed since this time we reserve the right to change our prices according to the new rate. Your Group - Primarily we run a family holiday park. Only those listed with the booking can occupy your holiday accommodation. We reserve the right to ask any person not listed to leave the park. Number of People - The number of people in your group (including children and babies) must not exceed the maximum capacity of the holiday accommodation. Single Sex and Non Family Groups - We do not normally accept single sex or non family groups. If you wish to make this type of booking you must let us know and we may ask questions that could mean your party will be accepted. We have the right to refuse your booking. Your Age - To make a booking you must be over 18. We do not normally accept bookings where more than half of the party are aged 17 – 25. If this is the case you must let us know when you attempt to make the booking as we have the right to refuse it. Children - Children must be supervised whilst on the park and are the responsibility of their parent or guardian during their stay. Children may only use the swimming pool if accompanied by an adult. Dogs - Some of our holiday accommodation is particularly set aside for dog owners with a maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation. We reserve the right to decline certain

breeds of dog so you must give us details. There is a charge to bring your dog(s) on holiday with you, for further details consult our price list. Any customer who has not revealed the fact that they have brought their pet on holiday and has not booked into a dog specific accommodation will be asked to move units or leave the park. Dog Rules - Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and you must clean up after them. Dogs are not allowed in the play area and dogs must not be left unattended in the holiday unit or elsewhere on the Park. You must provide your dog with its own bedding and discourage it from sitting on the furnishings. If your pet causes a nuisance or any damage you will be asked to remove it from the Park. Arrival - Your accommodation will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival. If you think your arrival time will be later than 7.00pm we need to make arrangements for you to pick up your keys somewhere other than Reception. Please make us aware if this is the case. If you have not arrived by 10.00pm on the day of arrival we will consider the booking to be cancelled unless we have been notified. Departure - You must vacate your holiday accommodation by 10.00am on the day of your departure. Use of the Accommodation - At the end of your holiday you must leave everything in a clean, tidy and undamaged condition. You are responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during your stay. We reserve the right to enter your accommodation under special circumstances or emergencies. Your personal possessions - You are responsible for your own personal possessions on the Park or in your accommodation and we are not responsible for any loss or damage to these. Driving - There is a speed limit on the Park of 5 miles an hour which you must adhere to. Everyone driving on the Park must be in possession of a driving licence. Your Car - There are speed limits on the Park that you must comply with. Vehicles are driven into the Park at your own risk and we are not responsible for any loss or damage. Your Behaviour - We run a family holiday park and if the management considers your behaviour to be offensive, illegal, disruptive or inappropriate we will ask you to leave. No refund will be given in these circumstances. Brochure - We have taken care to make sure the details of our brochure are correct when going to print, however we shall not be held liable if any facilities become unavailable. Complaints Procedure - We will do our best to ensure that you enjoy your holiday, however sometimes problems do occur. If you have any concerns or problems during your stay please notify the Reception staff immediately and we will attempt to put things right as soon as possible. We will not be held responsible for any concern that you knew about during your stay but did not report whilst you were here. If we did not resolve any matter satisfactorily during your stay you must notify us in writing. Any complaint received more than 14 days after your departure will not be considered. Cancellation protection (optional) We strongly recommend you take this out which will refund all monies paid without taking an administration fee. This must be paid for at the time of booking. For this premium, Hazelwood Holiday Park will refund all monies paid (excluding the cancellation Insurance fee) provided we receive written confirmation of cancellation of the entire party at least 56 before the commencement of your holiday. If you cancel your holiday between 56 days prior to arrival and your arrival date Hazelwood Holiday Park will refund if cancellation is due to any of the following: • Death to a named member of the booked party, • Serious illness to a named member of the booked party, or • Redundancy to a named member of the booked party •  Fire, flooding, subsidence or malicious damage rendering your home uninhabitable. Any claim must be in writing and supported by the relevant documents. Our acknowledgement is evidence of having received your notification. Please note Hazelwood Holiday Park’s cancellation scheme covers you until you arrive on site after which refunds cannot be given if for any reason you leave early. You may wish to take out your own holiday insurance to cover this. To Cancel: if you need to cancel you can let us know by telephone but we require notification in writing. The date that we receive your cancellation will be considered the cancellation date so we recommend you send it by recorded post to the address below. This policy is for cancellation and is not equivalent to a travel insurance policy.
