Welcome to my portfolio, I am a first year studying Furniture and Product Design at Nottingham Trent University. I have a passion for traditonal woodwork practices and designing products which will last a lifetime.

To design and make a piece of furniture for an online company. It must be aesthetically pleasing and suitable for the brand.

Initally 2D shapes were developed for potential seat shapes.

Further initals looked into different types of legs.

A range of stools were drawn before settling on a final style.

Sketch Development

Several stools in this style were designed. All included the extendable seat.

“Design a new, innovative Christmas Decoration for the brand ‘Habitat’.”

The original inspiration for this product is on geometric shapes.

Research into paper folding helped to explore different forms.

Origami was the final stage of development as it led to intricate 3D forms.
