Crawley Irish Festival 21st Anniversary Sat 23 September 7.30pm, Theatre

Afterglow

Afterglow play the music Genesis played once Phil Collins took on vocal duties. Afterglow do not try to re-enact a particular tour or even look like the original artists but rather to accurately recreate the music that Genesis played over the years – so no costumes or Mellotrons catching fire just the music played with authentic sounds and fastidious detail.

The Celtic and Irish Cultural Society present an afternoon celebrating Irish culture in the South East. From international entertainers, bill-topping acts and 15 bands – from traditional to contemporary and easy listening – in four different areas including a seven hour music session in the bar. The Dance Arena features the Festival Open Feis, the Crawley Ceili with displays from Crawley’s Irish Dance Schools. Children’s entertainment includes games, art workshops, song, storytelling and folklore. There’s an Irish shop, big screen GAA All-Ireland Football, food and craft stalls and much more!

Tickets: £16
