Poema de andalUCía

The Citrus Sierra Wind Symphony, assisted by the Citrus Concert Choir, recreates exciting and famous moments from films scored by Danny Elfman in this annual multi-media showcase of student work. The onetime Oingo Boingo frontman composed the theme song for the simpsons and collaborated with filmmaker Tim Burton on many films including the Nightmare before christmas. Featured this evening will be his music from batman, spiderman, charlie and the chocolate Factory, alice in Wonderland, as well as many others.

Cinderella Back by popular demand, the company that brought you swan Lake in 2015 returns with the full-length ballet of Prokofiev’s Cinderella. The esteemed Russian National Ballet Theatre performs another magical and well-known work from the classical ballet repertoire. Set to the melodious score of Sergei Prokofiev, the ballet incorporates humor in the portrayal of the step-mother and step-sisters which delights audiences of all ages. The 50-member company was founded in 1994 by Elena Radchenko, legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, and is dedicated to preserving the grand ballet traditions while nurturing young dancers throughout Russia.

The Citrus Sierra Wind Symphony, assisted by the Citrus Concert Choir, recreates exciting and famous moments from films scored by Danny Elfman in this annual multi-media showcase of student work. The onetime Oingo Boingo frontman composed the theme song for the simpsons and collaborated with filmmaker Tim Burton on many films including the Nightmare before christmas. Featured this evening will be his music from batman, spiderman, charlie and the chocolate Factory, alice in Wonderland, as well as many others.
