There is a choice of four colors – Black Shadow, Traditional Blue, Phantom Charcoal and Natural Shale – that are perfectly coordinated with nubuck, shagreen, mirrorfinish wood and naturally tanned burnished leather trim reinforced with golden brass studs.

Hästens Grand Vividus is available in standard sizes shown in the table above or can be custom made to your bespoke length and width, to a maximum size 305×305 cm. For beds larger than 270×240 cm, the base will be split in two.

All beds from 90 cm to 210 cm are the same price. Custom-made beds with lengths and/or widths larger than 210 cm are priced in proportion to the bed’s area (cm²) based on 210×210 cm, plus a 20% supplement.

For your convenience, two remote controls are supplied. A corded one and a wireless one. There is a handy cloth bag attached to the side of your bed for storing your remotes, so they’re always easy to find. You can even control your bed with your mobile by downloading the Hästens Remote App from the App Store or Google Play.

Hästens beds do not contain any foam, rubber, latex or polyurethane.

Jan Ryde, CEO of Hästens, is the fifth-generation family member to lead the powerhouse bed manufacturer since 1852. Jan studied industrial engineering and management at Sweden’s Linköping Institute of Technology, where he received a Master of Science degree before commencing doctoral studies in business. As an associate professor, Jan earned among the highest student rankings at Linköping University, where he taught business for several years prior to taking the helm at Hästens.
