Access to Higher Education Programmes for 2012/2013

Becoming an Access Student:

It’s never too late to think about University study! The Access to HE Diploma is designed for people who would like to study at university but who left school without the qualifications they needed to progress to a degree course. At Hartlepool College of Further Education there are eight different programmes leading to the Access to HE Diploma so you should be able to find one that matches your career ambition. Access students go on to succeed at university and beyond, pursuing new careers and seeing changes in their lives that they had never thought possible. Don’t just take our word for it. Some of our former students have commented on their Access experience:

Michael Dignan: Child Nursing: Qualified 2012 “The College has been the best educational experience of my life. I was over the moon with the help and support from staff. Everyone at college is helpful and supportive.”

Lee Dale: Year 2: Primary Education: Jon Snow College: University of Durham. “The College was the apprenticeship for my degree. The skills I learnt have enabled me to meet the challenges of Higher Education.” Annette Bostock: Year 1 CSI: Teesside University. “The College gave me the confidence to believe that I could achieve my goals and my ambition to become a Crime Scene Investigator.” Louise Tennant: Year 1 Food and Nutrition: Teesside University. “I felt I had a great supportive network. I hope to progress to Sports Nutrition but I couldn’t have done this without the Access course.”
