Stonewall Creek Falls and Trails Just North of Lake Rabun near Tiger, GA A beautiful reward for a leisurely walk to the creek. Stonewall Creek Falls is easily accessible from the Forest Service gate on an easy to follow, gradual trail. The walk from the gate to the falls is a little over half a mile. Know that you could get your shoes wet. Directions: Coming from either direction on Old 441 turn on to FS Rd. 20 (Stone Wall Road). Follow the dirt and gravel road until you see the gate on your left - about 1 mile in. This leads to the falls. Park opposite the gate or continue up the road until you find a larger parking area and another gate and walk back. Note that some portions of the road are a bit rocky. Low clearance vehicles should use extra care. The Stonewall Creek and White Twister mountain bike trails meander through this area as well. While probably not well-suited for casual excursions, with a little research or a tour guide, the trails offer many options for longer, moderate rides or hikes under the canopy. There are some water crossings.
