Fees and OC7 Scheme
International Old Harrovians
There is no entrance fee or proposer or seconder required for all International Old Harrovians. For under 25s, the Club has also established the OC7 Scheme whereby there is the opportunity of paying a one-oﬀ subscription of £350 for Membership between the ages of 18 and 25, also with no entrance fee or proposer or seconder required. In both cases, a reference is required from the school and all interested applicants will then be considered for Membership by the Election Committee.
The Oriental Club was founded in 1824 with the Duke of Wellington as the Club’s ﬁrst and only President. For nearly two hundred years, it has been the Central London focal point for those who have lived, worked or travelled in the East. Today the Membership is more diverse and local and international Members value the modern amenities of Stratford House and the attentive service oﬀered by the Club’s Staﬀ. Close to Bond Street and within easy reach of the City and Canary Wharf, the Club has well-appointed Bedrooms, an elegant Dining Room with renowned cuisine, two Bars, a secluded all-weather Courtyard Terrace for drinks and dining, Meeting Rooms, an IT Suite, spacious Drawing Rooms, a Billiards Room and Private Dining Rooms. The Club has a relationship with a select list of Reciprocal Clubs, allowing privileged access to exclusive Clubs around the world. There is a vibrant programme of social events and diﬀerent Societies to join and the Club is a Member of the popular Inter-Club Group for Under 35s.
