Civil Services (Main) Exam from 1st - 5th Dec The Objective of this kit for civil services mains is to make the candidate more compatible with the new trends noticed in the IAS exam and after the changed pattern it is quite clear now that UPSC wants aspirants to be aware of all the contemporary issues related to every part of the syllabus. UPSC is now concentrating more on concepts related to, day to day developments. Here our intention is to compile the issues from various sources and present it according to the requirement of main examination. The UPSC will conduct the Civil Services (Main) exam from 1st December to 5th December, 2013. The detailed time table of the exams will be available to the qualified candidates along with their E-admit card. The aim is to set the students free from the rigidities of highly ritualized, bland and indifferent teaching that they have so far experienced in universities; where there is a lot of teaching but very little learning. The successful candidates need to fill up an online detailed application form (DAF) anytime between 20 August and 10 September, 2013. The online form is available at www.upscdaf.nic.in After filling the online form, the candidate need to post the printed copy of online application form to the UPSC that must reach its address on or before 18 September, 2013. The focus Civil Services Main examination has shifted to General Studies paper. Now there are FOUR papers, each of 250 marks and combing them would entail 1200 marks that would determine the final outcome of the Mains results.
