Welcome to another content packed edition of BE Malaysia. I think this particular edition of our flagship publication helps perfectly to illustrate how the Business events industry is gaining a stronger foothold across Malaysia as a whole. You can see articles on Penang and Sarawak as BE magazine looks again to focus on the country as a whole and not just the capital, certainly in the issue ahead we will continue to ensure our content is national rather than regional. The interview with the new head of the MACEOS northern chapter is a case in point of the direction of the association and will help to cement our objectives in terms of geography of membership. Certainly this issue also helps to illustrate the enormous emphasis now the country is putting into venue investment. BE Magazine has already extensively featured the recently opened Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) and now we see even more development coming on stream with our main article about Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) and not forgetting the ground breaking new MyExpo in Putrajaya, certainly the future is bright in terms of infrastructure for industry growth. As the country gears up to the new challenges in the Business Events industry so also will the magazine itself, for 2018 watch this space to see a revamp of the look and feel of the magazine and also how we will be looking to feature more and more regional stories in order to help bring to our readers the exciting new developments going on in the industry. Special feature also on the rapidly developing provincial cities countrywide will also be a target for 2018. So you see a lot to report and plenty of work ahead for all of us. So it just remains for me to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and hoping for peace and prosperity for us all in 2018.
