Agatunet Idyllic listed hamlet with 30 buildings ranging from the Middle Ages to present-day. The unique court of appeals courtroom and residence was built by the knight and lawmaker Sigurd Brynjulvson Aga around year 1250. Film, art, cultural and historical exhibits. Traditional costume exhibition ‘Gåva frå mor’ (gift from my mother). Cosy café. Museum shop. Guided tours every hour until 16:00. Meet the knight every Wednesday in July at 12:00. Traditional baking every Friday 24 June - 12 August.

Husedalen

Travel guides, year-round transportation to and from Hardanger for groups. Arranges hiking excursions, farm visits, garden tours, food service and cultural arrangements in collaboration with local partners.

Four stunning waterfalls are close to each other along the hiking trail from Kinsarvik up to the Hardangervidda mountain plateau. A hike from the car park up to the uppermost fall and back takes 5-6 hours. Hardanger Fossasti (footpath) is a light walk starting in Kinsarvik. Follow the path along the river and read the information boards along the way. Maps for sale at the tourist information.

Biking: Along the National Tourist Route. Utne-Herand

Reisæterlia is in Folgefonna National Park. Sherpas from Nepal have built more than 2,000 stone steps for comfortable hiking. The hike starts at Reisæter (above Nå) at 300 meters asl, and ends at Eggje 1,200 meters asl. Duration: 4-6 hours. The trail is a part of the Pilgrim route from Jondal to Røldal stave church. The trail has wonderful views of the fjord and the mountains.

4 go-karts for kids over 8 years, and 10 go-karts for adults. 1 doublekart with passenger seat (over 8 years). The track is 578 m long, 7-8 m wide with timing equipment showing lap times. The track is known as exciting and challenging. You may hire the whole track for a group, or just a kart. The track is situated 2 km from the centre of Kinsarvik towards Husedalen valley.

Route 550 between Utne and Herand is a quiet road going through orchards and a beautiful landscape. 23 kilometres with amazing views. The bikeride may be combined with the boat service Hardangerfjord sightseeing. For rental bikes, see www.sykkelihardanger.no.
