FONNA is a summer ski centre on the glacier Folgefonna. Alpine skiing, freestyle park, cross country tracks and guided snow shoe hikes. Amazing views from the top of the ski lift over the Hardangerfjord, the glacier and the North Sea. The drive from Jondal up to the parking lot at the summer ski centre is 19 km. The length of the season is depending on snow conditions.
Bicycle tourism in Hardanger Discover the Hardangerfjord on bicycle. “Sykkel i Hardanger” offers rental bikes that will be delivered and collected according to the agreed plan for the clients. There are several different route options.

Hereiane Unique scenic landscape between Jondal and Herand with rolling formations from fjord to mountain top. Hereiane features a very special restroom built in 2006 as part of the Nasjonale Turistveger (national tourist routes) project. The millennium monument for the municipality of Jondal is also here. Exellent area for walking and relaxation.

Old Bailiff’s Farm with 7 buildings dating from the 1600-1700s. The original interior still gives the impression that people still live here.

Jondal hiking maps has 35 different walking routes. Choose between light or more challenging hikes. Most are marked and can also be downloaded to a GPS. Local guides available from Folgefonni Breførarlag. - Elvastien (riverside path), a wonderful walk in the middle of Jondal (suitable for prams). - Sætveit- Fjellstøl- Vikanuten, magnificent views over Jondal and the Hardangerfjord. - Climb to the top of Saksaklepp, the highest peak in Jondal with a wonderful view over the fjord and glacier. - Åsleite-Samlen, from the top of Mt Samlen there is a marvellous view over the Hardanger fjord, roundtrip 3 hours.
