1 Hardangervidda Nature Centre Eidfjord A modern and exciting centre on Norwegian nature, climate and environment. Interactive exhibits, aquariums and a great movie on 5 large screens. 2 Sima Power Plant One of the biggest hydroelectric power stations in Europe. The power plant is 700m inside the mountain. The turbine hall is 200m long, 20m wide and 40m high. Museum focusing on maritime culture. Workshops with rope making, blacksmith and building traditional wooden boats. 4 Art centre Kabuso

Summer exhibiton 2016: Olav Christopher Jenssen. Kabuso presents exhibitions, concerts and other events all year round. Ingebrigt Vik Museum houses a collection of the works of the artist Ingebrigt Vik. Pieces in bronze, plaster and marble are on display. 6 The Norwegian Museum of Hydro Power and Industry (NVIM) An insight into the history of Norwegian hydropower industry.The hydropower history in Odda began in Tyssedal in 1906 and the spectacular power station Tysso 1 still stands as a monument by the fjord. 7 Røldal stave church The church was built in the 13th century and according to the legend, the crucifix in the church has healing powers. During the Middle Ages Røldal was an important pilgrimage destination in Norway. Guided tours in the summer season. See page 30. Tel: + 47 48 10 92 84
