CONCEPT - RESOLUTION

BRIEF Design and produce a two colour poster for Jack Nicholson’s film “The Last Detail’. The design must work at a scale of A4. CONCEPT The design is inspired by the journey made by two navy men and a young offender on the way to Portsmouth Naval Prison. They stop on during their journey in the cities marked on the map. Stock Research involved watching the film and studying film posters. Looking at the area where the story line takes place and Portsmouth Naval Prison where the journey ended up. Film post artists like Saul Bass and Heinz Schulz-Neudamm were in particular an inspiration.
