Statistischer Überblick in Zahlen und Bildern Statistical overview in numbers and pictures 2010 besuchten 60 Fellows aus 19 Ländern das HWK, darunter Senior Fellows, Twin Fellows, Junior Fellows und Artists in Residence. Neben der erfreulichen Steigerung der Anzahl der Fellowships insgesamt im Vergleich zu den Vorjahren lässt sich auch eine Erhöhung des Frauenanteils feststellen (vergl. die Grafik Seite 34). Den größten Anteil an HWK-Fellowships hatten 2010 die Sozialwissenschaften, gefolgt von fast ebenso vielen Fellows aus dem Bereich der Neuro- und Kognitionswissenschaften sowie Fellows aus der Meeres- und Klimaforschung. Im jüngsten Wissenschaftsgebiet am HWK, der Energieforschung, lässt sich die Zahl der Fellowships erwartungsgemäß noch steigern. Weiter stark nachgefragt waren Fellowships für Artists in Residence im Rahmen des Projektes »art in progress«.
60 Fellows from 19 countries attended the HWK, including Senior Fellows, Junior Fellows, Twin Fellows and Artists in Residence. Next to a noticable increase of Fellows altogether compared to previous years there has also been a growing proportion of women (see chart page 34). The largest share of HWK Fellowships consisted of Social Sciences, followed by almost the same number of Fellows in Neurosciences and Cognitive Sciences and Fellows from the field of Marine and Climate Research. For the youngest field of research at the HWK, Energy Research, we expect an increase in the number of Fellowships. As before, Fellowships for Artists in Residence within the project art in progress were in high demand.
