“I was so excited to share the stage with all of our new talent as well as our more established actors,” offered Camille Bechac, a 4 year veteran of the Blackfriars. “It was such an honor to participate in ‘Into the Woods’. I have no doubt that the Blackfriars are in good hands,” said Isabel Bolner, echoing the same sentiment. ‘Into the Woods’ gave opportunities for numerous underclassman to take on lead roles and those performers dazzled. The Blackfriars will offer two productions next year. In the fall, a collection of one acts and in March of 2018, they will premiere the rock musical ‘We Will Rock You’, written by Queen. “We keep getting bigger and better,” crowed Rodriguez, “and that is exciting. You won’t believe how good next season will be.”
